I loved my first Mother's Day! I didn't need gifts, special meals or anything. All I wanted was the opportunity to embrace my family. Regardless of all of that, Mike and Ava made sure the day was special. They made me breakfast in bed. Mike invented quite the waffle. It had M & M's and whip cream on it. In addition, Ava made me a special little picture and Mike got me a bosu ball. It sounds random but I have been wanting one for so long. I love using them at the gym. We had a great time spending time together as a family. Ava pretty much slept the entire day so I didn't manage to get pictures with her, but I did get plenty with my awesome husband!
