Today Mike and I took a trip down to the Santa Barbara Harbor because the USS Ronald Reagan make a stop in our city. It was a misty day so it was difficult to get a clear shot of the ship but I was amazed at how large it is! There were hundreds of sailors walking around Santa Barbara. We felt like we were in a community with a navy base. After we took the opportunity to take a few more pictures at the harbor, including a picture of a sand sculpture of a soldier that was amazing. The sculpture wasn't finished yet but what was finished was great! We walked through a park near the ocean and took some pictures of the pond and turtles. We ended our journey with a late lunch at Nordstrom and a little shopping!
