Calm Before the Next Storm

You might be following the national weather news. If you are, you know that California has been hit with heavy rains and snow storms. Santa Barbara has been under water for the last week. We actually closed my office one day because the rain was so heavy. It unfortunately caused damage to our building. The mountains actually got snow in Santa Barbara and snow was on the ground in San Luis Obispo. Today we went out to the pier to see if we could catch some fun pics of waves before the next storm hits tonight/tomorrow. The ocean smelled terrible and the water was brown. It's hard to tell from the pictures but if you were there in person you would understand what I am talking about. There was a slight hint of a rainbow but it was difficult to capture on camera. I'm posting a picture of some of the flooding that was on the side of the road also. Last Thursday SB had more rain in one day than all last year combined!
