The Visit

Right before Thanksgiving our good friends from Santa Barbara (Chris and Jen) came out to visit. The real purpose behind the trip was so we good all go together to New Moon, the midnight showing. Apparently I am getting to old to stay up until 3 a.m. Eeks! We had a great weekend. We went up to Rocky Mountain National Park and as you'll see, got real close to some caribou. We also stopped by the Stanley Hotel to see if we could see any ghosts...no luck! We drove around in the park for a while and drove up to Bear Lake. When you look at the pictures note that the lake behind us was a sheet of ice.

Aren't you also too old to be going to New Moon? Just kidding! I think the movie was more popular with women in their thirties than any other age group (at least, those were all the ones who blogging about it).

Lovely pictures!
