Over Labor Day weekend we had the opportunity to take a quick trip to Seattle. It was a nice and long airplane ride for Ava. We were hoping that she would fall asleep but that was not the case. Infact, she was quite hyper and had a hard time sitting still but she did well for a trip that long.
While we were in Seattle, I spent two days working with our Seattle team while Mike and Ava enjoyed the Zoo and the Aquarium. On Friday we took the Victoria Clipper up to Victoria, Canada for the day. It was Ava's first official trip outside of the country. She even got her own passport for the journey! While we were there we went to Butchart Gardens and then spent time roaming the downtown area. On Saturday we went to Pike's Market and spent time in the downtown area. On Sunday, Mike went on the Underground Tour while Ava and me shopped around Pioneer Square. We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend and great weather in the Northwest. On Labor Day we were back in Denver and able to go to the park and run some errands around town. I'm so glad we were able to go on a family trip together this summer.
